I got the opportunity to write Strava’s brand announcement for the launch of its collaboration with Nike.

Group Challenges on Strava
In 2021, Strava launched the ability to rally friends together and compete in Group Challenges. Athletes around the world could choose the rules for their own games, set a goal for their group to chase and invite who they wanted.
As lead writer on the Go-to-Market, I identified members of the global Strava community to highlight in the launch video (above). I developed the interview questions and refined the responses into the script, then worked hand in hand with an agency partner (Archer’s Mark) to produce this footage.
Announcing an Acquisition.
When Strava was ready to announce that it had acquired FATMAP, I worked with Strava’s CMO and the founder of FATMAP to draft an email to share the good news with Strava users.
As lead writer for Strava’s personalized, year-end experience Year In Sport 2022, I developed the narrative wrapper of “One Worldwide Team” as a through line to tie multiple workstreams together. I implemented this branding for emails, social media posts and the app.
I’ve also been known to film my feet and write captions for Strava’s Instagram from time to time.
